The Rheumatology Department professionally diagnoses and treats various rheumatic diseases. Rheumatic diseases include rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis, inflammatory myositis, vasculitis, and Sjogren's syndrome, and various forms of arthritis such as ankylosing spondylitis, gout, osteoarthritis, and bacterial arthritis.
The Rheumatology Department closely cooperates with the Orthopedic Surgery Department and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department to enhance the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment, and Rheumatology specialists directly perform joint ultrasound tests to increase the accuracy of diagnosis.
