Patients diagnosed with cancer for the first time or suspected to have cancer are accompanied by specialized coordinators for treatment reservation, tests, and checking results. Also, patients are helped to complete all required procedures within the visiting date.

The multidisciplinary system is operated with specialized medical staff from each department. The biggest advantage of this system is that various kinds of knowledge and inputs that are not biased toward one field can be collected from the relevant medical staff to determine the optimal treatment for patients. Various programs are supported for patients to return to daily life after cancer treatment, and hospice services are provided for terminal cancer patients. In addition, education and promotion activities are provided to local citizens for the early diagnosis of cancer and contribution to enhancing survival rates

The Cancer Center has obtained Grade 1 in the cancer qualification conducted by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service in gastric cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, and breast cancer fields. The expertise of the medical staff, appropriateness of treatments, and overall management of facilities and patient treatments are evaluated for the classification of medical institutes into Grades 1~5.
