Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is a field of special surgery that is generally classified into reconstructive plastic surgery and aesthetic plastic surgery.

There are many well-known aesthetic plastic surgery fields, but reconstructive plastic surgery is a treatment aiming to provide hope for life by restoring congenital or acquired body deformities close to normal states.

Examples include ▲craniofacial congenital anomalies including cleft lip and palate, microtia, craniosynostosis, torticollis ▲correction of hand congenital anomalies including polydactyly and syndactyly ▲vascular malformations ▲skin tumor resection ▲reconstructive surgery for traumatic facial bone fractures and soft tissue defects ▲burn treatment and reconstruction ▲ breast reconstruction after breast cancer resection and ▲ treatment for bronchospasm.
