    The Hepatobiliary&Pancreatic Surgery Department is a surgical branch where various benign and malignant liver, biliary tract, and pancreas diseases are diagnosed and treated. Patient satisfaction is increased and treatment effectiveness is maximized by cutting-edge treatments such as laparoscopy, robotic surgery, etc.

The Hepatobiliary&Pancreatic Surgery Department is a surgical branch where various benign and malignant liver, biliary tract, and pancreas diseases are diagnosed and treated.

Diagnosis and surgical treatments on benign and malignant liver tumors are provided in the liver disease field, and laparoscopic liver resection is actively performed besides open surgeries. Especially, we have extensive experience in transplants after succeeding in the first liver transplant between different blood types in Korea and treating hemophilia and liver cancer simultaneously with liver transplant.

Diagnosis and surgical resection are also performed on benign and malignant liver tumors that occur in the pancreatic biliary tract. Surgeries utilizing laparoscopy and robots are performed depending on the characteristics of disease and malignancy, and treatment success rates and patient satisfaction are increased by applying robotic surgeries in pancreatectomy and pancreaticoduodenectomy, which are known to have the highest difficulty among surgical fields.
