HEALTH PROMOTION CENTER

Ajou University Health Promotion Center

Professors and specialists in various fields from the Family Practice and
Community Health, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Radiology, and Gastroenterology
departments are stationed at the Ajou University Health Promotion Center with an
organic system that enables close checkups by immediately contacting the relevant
department if suspected diseases are found during tests.

AJOU Basic: Program for early detection of adult diseases and cancer risk factors applicable to middle-aged patients.

  • (Men: 696,000 won/women: 768,000 won for A types, 888,000 won for B types)

AJOU Detailed: Program with test items added to basic examination

  • The following tests are added in all items of the basic examination
    • Colonoscopy, bone density test, dental X-ray test and counseling, spinal X-ray test, nutritional assessment and counseling, autonomic nerve test, blood precision (in-blood calcium, phosphate, insulin, arteriosclerosis predictor, lung cancer indicator test, female hormone, male hormone), cardiovascular CT
Type B Colonoscopy test is excluded from Type A Detailed Examination

AJOU Premium: The most detailed examination with the addition of CT and ultrasonic tests for each region. Exclusive nurse gives 1:1 guidance.

  • One-day type (Type A: 5.58 million won for men, 5.88 million won for women/Type B: 6.276 million won for men, 6.576 million won for women)
  • Accommodation type (men: 6.504 million won/women: 6.804 million won) ※ Test performed for 2 days overnight

    • Total body·brain PET-CT, abdominal, pelvic CT, low-dose lung CT, sleep endoscopy (stomach, colon), intracellular mineralization test, NK cell activity test, cardiac ultrasound, thyroid ultrasound, carotid ultrasound, prostate ultrasound (men), uterus·breast ultrasound (women)
Type B
  • The following tests are added in all items of the Type A Premium Examination
    • Brain and cerebrovascular MR, total body PET-CT
  • Other than these programs, there are programs where you can add specific tests (digestive disease, heart disease, lung disease, brain disease, dementia, major cancers, etc.) considering personal physical characteristics and family medical histories.
  • Genetic risks of specific cancers or diseases can be predicted through genetic analysis (additional fees occur).
