정성현 교수는 1998년 아주대학교 의과대학을 졸업하고, 아주대병원 소화기내과와 종양혈액내과 연구강사를 거쳐 현재 종양혈액내과 교수로 재직 중이다.Oxford University Churchill Hospital BMT center에서 연수하였고 림프종치료에 관한 여러 다기관 임상연구를 성공적으로 주도하였다.
진료분야는 림프종, 만성백혈병, 골수증식성질환, 기타 혈액질환이고 대외적으로는 대한혈액학회, 대한조혈모세포이식학회 정회원이며 대한혈액학회 학술위원, 정책홍보위원, 조혈모세포이식학회 학술위원, 림프종연구회 임상시험 간사를 역임하였고 현 대한혈액학회 회원관리이사, KMDP 공여자보호 위원회 부위원장으로 활동하고 있다.
